CrossNumber is a crossword style number game. Each clue is a short sentence that leads to a number. You type digits into a grid so answers that cross share the same digit. The interface looks clean and premium, with a glass-card look and smooth animations. The game gives you choices for timer mode, helps when you get stuck, and records the logical steps so you can learn from every puzzle.

How to play, step by step

  • Choose a timer mode: Relax (no timer), Timed (count up), or Blitz (fixed time).

  • Enter an optional handle or choose to play anonymously for the leaderboard.

  • Start the puzzle to load 25 clues placed across and down in the grid.

  • Tap a cell or select a clue from the Across or Down list to focus it.

  • Use the number pad to enter digits into the highlighted cells.

  • Use Notes mode to pencil in possible digits without committing them.

  • Use Erase to clear a cell and Undo to revert the last change.

  • When all digits for a clue are filled, the game checks the answer automatically.

  • Correct answers mark the cells and add points; incorrect ones remain editable.

  • If stuck, request a Professor Tip (soft hint) or use Solve Step to reveal one digit (both reduce score).

  • Watch the Logic Trail to see each deduction and explanation for learning.

  • The progress bar and score update as you solve clues; the game ends when all clues are solved or time runs out.

  • On completion, view your final score, time, and hints used. Export results as JSON or CSV or share your score.
